This is a fixed term, part-time (0.4 FTE) position. The period of appointment is from November 2024 - April 2025.

The Resource Lead role is an essential role within the Learning Design and Development Directorate, responsible for resourcing projects, managing contracts and ensuring supporting systems, tools and processes are fit-for-purpose.

The Resource Lead reports to the Manager, Learning Development and Processes in the Learning Design and Development directorate, working across the directorate to ensure we have the right people, at the right time to work with our development teams to design excellent courseware for our ākonga. We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to join our team.

The Resource Lead:

- Schedules external resources
- Monitors and plans future resourcing levels to ensure resource supply and demand balance
- Manages contractors working with Learning Design and Development
- Manages contracts, as well as contracting systems
- Builds up long-term business relationships with external contractors
- Designs, implements and improves resourcing and contracting processes, tools and systems

We are looking for:

- A tertiary qualification is essential
- Relevant work experience, preferably in a tertiary education environment
- Experience in managing staff, budgets, and resources
- Familiarity and/or experience with educational design
- Experience in account management
- Experience in resource planning
- Well‐developed interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility
- contract management skills including dealing with contractual issues and dispute resolution and a good understanding of contract administration
