**Position Summary**

Acts as the hotel manager on duty and is responsible for hotel operations during the evening and overnight shifts. Responsible for assisting the Director and General Manager with the planning, organization, development and direction of the Front Office and Housekeeping operations to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsible for assisting with the planning, organization, development, and direction of the tourist schemes between Vietnam and New Zealand. Assists with the development of the staff to operate at the highest service standards as they relate to efficiency, professionalism, accuracy, and customer service. Builds and manages teams effectively.

**Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions**:

- Manages hotel operations during the evening and overnight shifts. Focus is on Front Office Operations, Night Audit, and Safety/Security.
- Assisting guests with late-night inquiries, reservations, and housekeeping needs with promptness and professionalism.
- Ensures overall organization and operation of the Night Audit Operations. Review all audits and reconciliation of daily sales transactions, balancing all electronic payments and interface transactions reporting discrepancies.
- Responsible for assisting the Director and General Manager with the planning, organization, development, and direction of the Tourist Schemes between Vietnam and New Zealand.
- Takes emergency calls and ensures operational support areas are covered to provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints, communicate with other departments
- Monitors and assesses service and satisfaction trends, evaluates and addresses
- Follows all safety policies and procedures. Reports potential safety issues to General Manager or Director whenever observed and takes immediate action to resolve emergencies.
- Reporting to work as scheduled (on time and on a regular basis) is an essential function of the job.
- Assists with selection, training, scheduling, and supervising Team Members according to hotel policies and procedures.

**What we need from you**
- Diploma in business management, accounting or relevant field.
- Qualification can be substituted with at least 3 years’ experience working in the hotel/motel industry at the management level.
- Knowledge of the Vietnamese language, Vietnam food, and culture in planning, and developing tourism between Vietnam and New Zealand.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Front Office systems.
- Problem-solving, training and organizational abilities.
- Prior experience in the Hospitality Industry in a guest-facing position.

**What we offer**
- A competitive salary that rewards all your hard work (ranging between $32 and $40 per hour, depending on skills and experience).
- Full-time, permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed.

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
