**Here at Auckland Transport (AT) we are taking Auckland's transport system into the future, connecting our city to give Kiwis easy journeys.**

It's an incredibly exciting time for AT and we have some important work to do to improve the experiences of our people and our customers. We are seeking a Customer Data Analyst to provide actionable insights to inform the design of better customer experiences.

**Key Tasks and responsibilities include**:

- Provide high impact customer insights to inform the design of excellent customer experiences, to drive behaviour change and to increase consumer trust and confidence in AT.
- Foster a deep understanding of customer behaviour and drive data-based decision making across the organisation through the delivery of actionable insights and self-service dashboards.
- Work closely with CX product and delivery managers to understand business challenges, size customer pain points, assess the impact of proposed CX initiatives and track the realisation of customer benefits.
- Design and develop actionable customer segmentations and predictive models to enable AT to connect with customers in a more meaningful way.

**What are we looking for?**
- A customer insights professional with a curious mind and the ability to turn data into insights and bring opportunities to life.
- Experience working in a commercial environment delivering insights to help drive better customer outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to tell compelling stories through data visualisation
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, math, computer science, or economics.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
- Experience with programming and data manipulation tools such as Power Query, Alteryx, R, SAS, SQL and Python.
- A drive to master new technologies and data analysis techniques
