A field Manager is required in Rakaia to oversee and manage the growing processes of flower bulbs.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the general manager, you'll be responsible for all aspects related to the field management of the growing processes of flower bulbs. You'll liaise with contract growers, external authorities, suppliers, and other members of the management team.

Typical responsibilities include planning and coordinating the growing process from soil preparation to harvest, monitoring production, and maintaining optimal growing conditions.

You'll report on environmental conditions, planting plans and harvesting schedules, using this information to improve quality and productivity, determine staffing requirements, and manage field logistics.

**About You**:
Ideally, you have extensive knowledge of the agricultural sector, particularly cultivation. You're familiar with the best safety practices related to production equipment and machinery.

You work well individually and in teams and have good written and verbal communication skills. During peak production, you're committed to working long hours as necessary.

MPI Accredited Person or Growsafe Certified Handler certificates would be a bonus to have
- English language fluency is essential
- Full driver's licence
- Sound computer skills
- Qualifications in the Agricultural/Horticultural industries are highly beneficial
