Tour Group Sales Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Manage Tour Bookings and Communication**: Oversee tour group bookings and liaise with tour operators, leaders, and local guides to provide product information and address special requests.
- **Manage Day-to-Day Sales Operations**: Supervise daily sales activities to ensure smooth operations, monitor staff performance, and maintain high service standards.
- **Staff Management**:Assess tour bookings to schedule adequate staff based on demand. Motivate the sales team to achieve targets while recruiting and training new employees to ensure high performance and service standards.
- **Develop and Implement Sales Strategies**: Create and execute effective strategies to maximise tour group sales and improve customer loyalty.
- **Monitor Sales Performance**: Track and analyse sales results, making adjustments to strategies as needed to meet targets.
- **Explore New Opportunities**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase sales.
- **Promote the Brand**: Represent Farmers Corner at negotiations, conventions, and public events to enhance brand image and reputation.

**Qualifications and Essential Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- At least five years of experience in sales management, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry.
- Strong public relations and communication skills are a must.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in achieving sales targets and effective resource allocation.
- Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.

**Hours of Work**:The hours of work may range from** 35 to 45 hours per week,** depending on the seasonal demands of the business, with increased hours during peak periods and reduced hours during off-peak times.
