**About the role.
Reporting into the General Manager of NZ, our Head of Finance is based in Auckland and leads a highly capable finance team and holds a well-rounded, overarching scope. The role will combine a mix of both overseeing financial day-to-day controls to ensure we are fully compliant and commercial finance and analyses and become pivotal in business operations. This role will see you:

- Lead the annual budget and planning cycle, partnering with regional & global teams to ensure accuracy and financial understanding.
- Oversee all daily operations, including bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
- Coordinate month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Support global financial projects.
- Partner with the NZ business across multiple brands
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Manage payable/creditor processes and payroll.
- Contribute to the design of internal controls and finance risk management framework. Provide strategic input into the direction of Allpress NZ

**About you:
A capable, confident and well-rounded financial leader who’ll hold stellar technical capacity and leadership skills with:

- CA or CPA qualification essential
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Demonstrates confidentiality, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
- 5+ years’ experience in financial management, reporting and analysis. Proficient in Excel and experienced in financial modelling.
