**The Role**
We have a great opportunity to join our Risk and Compliance team as a Risk Analyst. In this role you’ll proactively act with first line of defence responsibility, to assist with the non-financial risk activities. You’ll be focused on ensuring sound risk management practices are embedded within our Operations division, in line with Global and Regional risk management policy and practices.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Assisting with the coordination of Operational Risk, Compliance and Vendor Management activities
- Assisting with risk identification, assessment, management and monitoring
- Assisting the business to resolve identified issues and understand regulatory change impacts.
- Providing support to the broader team to continually improve the framework and compliance
- Assisting in the preparation of insightful reporting and identify risk trends with proposed actions to address them.
- Support the development of a constructive culture by educating and creating awareness of sound risk management practices, in a way that makes it real for staff and aligns to Operations strategic direction.
**Who we are looking for**:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or similar
- Experience in developing or reviewing processes
- Good knowledge of BS11 / Procurement / Vendor Management processes
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and control self-assessments.
- Ability to determine and monitor appropriate leading and lagging risk and control indicators, and advise on appropriate action when early warning limits are triggered.
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Demonstratable project management experience
- A strong continuous improvement mindset
