Atlantis Health is looking for a 2 highly organised Registered Nurses, living in or near the Kāpiti Coast District and Christchurch regions, with significant IV cannulation and venepuncture experience to provide home visit support for an international clinical trial.

All clinical equipment/supplies and training on trial-specific procedures will be provided. This would suit either an independent contractor looking for extra hours or someone seeking a part time position in addition to other nursing commitments. Community nursing or clinical research experience would be an advantage.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Cannulate patient to administer IV therapy in the patient’s home
- Conduct other trial assessments as required e.g. collection of vital signs, weight, urine pregnancy test, collection and processing of blood samples, ECG, cognitive assessments
- Record adverse events and changes in medication history
- Accurately document procedures and data, scan and send documentation to trial team within strict timeframes
- Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure patient visits are conducted as scheduled
- Adhere to the trial protocol and clinical standard operating procedures (SOPs)

**Desirable Skills**
- Registered NZ Nursing License; legally able to work in NZ as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years post registration experience
- Current CPR certification
- Highly experienced in IV cannulation; experience with infusion pump
- Venepuncture experience
- ECG experience
- Confident working independently in patients’ homes
- Strong patient care focus and able to build rapport easily
- Accurate documentation skills - excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication, fluent in English, able to work effectively with a remote team
- Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate with experience with Microsoft Office; own computer and mobile phone
- Full driving license and own reliable vehicle
