Our Pharmacy department is an innovative and exciting place to work. We employ over 150 staff including those working within two retail pharmacies, a flagship inpatient service covering both clinical and supply aspects of pharmacy service delivery, medication safety and medicine information services and trials. We serve over 1200 inpatient beds. Our guiding principle is to put the patient first in everything we do. **Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

As a pharmacist, passionate about putting patients at the centre of everything you do, you’ll be in your element here with us. You can look forward to joining one of New Zealand’s leading clinical research services - providing clinical trials and pharmacy expertise to complex trials patients.

In this role you will become an integral part of the clinical trials team within the supply and logistics service of the Te Toka Tumai Pharmacy Department and provide support and guidance to our research clinicians in all aspects of trial medicine use within multiple specialties including Cancer and Blood. In this role, you will proficiently manage and deliver a designated portfolio of dispensed and compounded clinical trials in collaboration with Slade Health, the Cancer and Blood Research Service and other specialty areas. We’re sure you’ll also relish the chance to get involved in the delivery of other pharmacy supply and logistics services, and the education and training of pharmacists and wider multidisciplinary team.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

You will be an enthusiastic pharmacist, committed to furthering yourself and your peers with the ability to role model the Te Toka Tumai values.
- Effective and collaborative communication and interpersonal skills
- NZ registered pharmacist with hospital experience
- Current APC with the Pharmacy Council of NZ (or eligible to obtain)
- Recent clinical trials experience and knowledge of ICH-GCP and cGMP would be highly valued
- Ability to critically review clinical, dispensing and compounding information in clinical trials protocols
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and complete clinical trials documentation and reports
- Efficient organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
