Brewery Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a qualified and safety-focused Brewery Maintence Technician or Maintenance Fitter - Electrical to join our Engineering team at DB Breweries in Auckland. This is a full-time, 4-shift rotating role, supporting our Brewery operations — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
You'll be part of a team that ensures our electrical systems are reliable, safe, and always ready to support production of our much-loved brews.
What you’ll do:
- Perform electrical maintenance - reactive, planned, and preventive
- Respond to breakdowns and support troubleshooting to minimise downtime
- Contribute to TPM and continuous improvement activities
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Utilities teams
What we’re looking for:
- Recognised electrical trade qualification (NZCE or Advanced Trade Certificate)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, safety-first approach
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing environments
- Proven experience with instrumentation and calibration
- PLC programming experience, ideally with Allen-Bradley systems
- Willingness and ability to work on a 4-shift rotating roster
- Must hold valid New Zealand work rights
