Senior Markets Analyst - Market Intelligence and Analysis Produce influential advice and insights to assist the formulation of monetary and financial policy and the management of our balance sheet. Te tūranga - The role As the Senior Markets Analyst's your primary role is to provide analysis and research on financial market developments, the transmission of monetary policy in New Zealand, and the transmission of global developments to the New Zealand economy and financial system. You are responsible for monitoring developments, building analytical frameworks, and communicating insights related to your area of responsibility. You will also undertake longer-term research and analysis, with a focus on advancing the strategic priorities of the Financial Markets Department and the Bank. Your work will support the formulation of monetary policy and management of the Bank's balance sheet. Ō pūkenga - About you You're passionate about the contribution you can make to New Zealand's economic wellbeing, you have a strong blend of people and technical leadership, and with your collaborative and engaging approach you are able to guide and mentor others to achieve success. You'll bring to the role:

- A strong analytical background and an understanding of financial markets and their interaction with the economy
- Practical experience in an applied economics or financial markets environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
