Job SummaryWe are currently seeking to appoint a QA Coordinator at our Taura site in Mount Maunganui. This is a parental leave cover position. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role requires you to support the site through maintaining, coordinating and monitoring the site's Quality Management System, conducting internal & external audits, while helping to drive our commitment to deliver quality products to meet our customer's expectations. Key responsibilities will include: - Ensure daily supervision of quality assurance activities is undertaken to make certain raw materials, in process products, finished products and packaging comply with the required standards. - Effective management of any non-conforming raw materials and finished goods including recon, limiting where possible the risk and cost to the business. - Coordination and ongoing maintenance of non-conformance and Corrective Action System as primary mechanism used to effect customer satisfaction and organizational improvement. - Conduct investigations into process and product quality issues and provide appropriate reports outlining the cause and corrective actions to implement change. - Effectively oversee, control, and manage raw material and finished product clearance from the warehouse. To be successful in this role: - Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry including quality control - Proficient in Excel - An understanding of GMP and HACCP principles - A commitment to the principles of food safety and drive to uphold those principles. - Attention to detail, with clear and accurate documentation skills - A disciplined, proactive approach to timelines and compliance to procedures. - Most importantly, we are seeking an outstanding team player who is smart, enthusiastic, has a "can do" attitude, and wants to work for a business where they can make a difference About the Business: Taura Natural Ingredients, is a subsidiary of International Flavours and Fragrances (IFF).
