Mō'te'tūnga'| About the role The Affordable Housing Fund supports the development of new, affordable homes for low-to-moderate income people and whānau, in locations facing the biggest housing supply and affordability challenges. The $350 million investment will help grow the affordable housing sector, which is critical to addressing the needs of New Zealanders who struggle to meet the cost of a market rental but can't access public housing. This role leads commercial advice, support and direction for the Affordable Rental Pathway,workingacross the business, providing advice at ministerial level and influencing performance planning and strategic implementation of priorities and programmes of work. Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining relationships with relevant internal HUD teams who support the delivery of the Affordable Rental Pathway
- Identifying and managing contract and contract management risks
- Ensuring activities are in accordance with HUD and other relevant government policies, procedures, and rules
- Providing high quality reporting and insights
- Managing effective internal and external relationships with approved providers ensuring the delivery of the service in line with obligations and expected outcomes

'The salary range for this role is $127,309 - $179,730 + 3% Kiwisaver contribution. Ō'wheako, ō pukenga | About you You will bring a broad skill set to the position, including project management, strategic stakeholder relationship management and commercial nous. You may come from a commercial, banking, property, regulatory, or local government or related sector. You will take an evidenced based approach to your work and have a keen commercial risk radar, identifying opportunities and threats, producing risk mitigation strategies to support productive outcomes for sector stakeholders. You will be a skilled and nuanced relationship builder, comfortable working alongside iwi housing providers, wider sector, and senior leadership. You will be confident working in a commercial related area and navigating the complexities of the public sector environment. What you'll bring to the role:
