We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.

**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

Due to the growth within the department an opportunity has arisen for a general radiography supervisor position in Whakatane Radiology. This position is open to Whakatāne Medical Imaging Technologists.

The position will require you to report to the Radiology Team Leader and work alongside the CT Supervisor.

**Additional duties to assist the **Whakatāne Team Leader are**
- Will participate in the Whakatāne roster for out-of-hours including weekend work.
- Will be required to manage the on-call sheets/Microster.
- Be the key trainer in general radiography for any new staff.
- Up-date rosters as required.
- Support the Radiology Team Leader with people management.
- Manage the QA programme
- Manage equipment issues.
- Liaise with appropriate teams at both Whakatāne and Tauranga hospitals regarding operational issues
