About the role
The Senior Advisor - People Group provides insight, tactical advice and facilitate effective solutions to urgent and ongoing issues. As a key member of the People Group, Planning and Governance Team, this role works collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across the People Group and MSD coordinating, analysing, researching and generating responses to inform sound decision-making.

**As a Senior Advisor you will**:

- Establish processes and timelines to coordinate information in response to requests, facilitate business planning and reporting
- Support the People Group Workforce Portfolio and work programmes and assist in the development and mentoring of other team members
- Provide advice to the business including risk and assurance
- Develop and maintain effective, trusted working relationships across the Group and wider MSD
- Contribute to replies to Parliamentary questions, and OIA requests

**Skills and experience**:

- Collating and analysing large amounts of information to produce a range of reports and provide insights into trends, risks and concerns
- An understanding and experience of working in sensitive environments able to work at a strategic level with senior stakeholders
- Understanding of the public sector operating environment and politically savvy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate work programmes to meet deadlines while maintaining quality of services

Position Description

**Salary range**: $95,546.00 - $116,778.00
