**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst to join our Digial Performance team. You will be recognised as a expert in programme and project delivery practices across Digital. You will provide independent advice, monitoring, and assurance to ensure projects and initiatives are set up for success, delivered in alignment with Ministry priorities, and continuously improved over time. You will also influence teams to adopt good practice, promotes cross-team learning, and ensures delivery approaches are fit for purpose and aligned to organisational standards.
In this role, you will:
- provide independent, pragmatic advice and identify opportunities for improvement
- support the preparation of project documentation such as business cases, project change requests (PCRs), and project initiation documents (PIDs)
- lead the embedding of project hygiene and good practice change across Digital in line with Ministry frameworks and standards
- gather insights on delivery methods and promote effective practices across teams to build organisational learning
- develop/maintain reporting for initiatives as appropriate.
**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**
To be successful in this role, you will:
- project delivery experience in large and complex organisations. (continuous improvement across the project delivery lifecycles, knowledge of agile practices)
- ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences on a range of complex issues, written and verbal reporting
- able to build and maintain a range of effective business relationships
- sound understanding of project frameworks/tools
- good analysis skills (experience analysing project finances and providing insights).

The appointing salary for this role will be between $84,562 and $116,273 based on skills and experience.
