**Cardinal is an accredited employer looking for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Coordinator.**

Cardinal Logistics isone ofNew Zealands leadingowned and operated 3PL provider, which operates in a fast-moving and dynamic warehousing and distribution industry sector. We are looking for a motivated individual interested in a fast-paced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) career. This position would suit an efficient, detail orientated and hardworking applicant who is passionate about health and safety and is excited to get hands-on involvement with the teams to encourage a culture focus on SHEQ in the workplace.

This position would include coordination and administration of all SHEQ requirements: ensuring that all systems and processes associated with sites, equipment, customer requirements, utilities (including certification and Food Safety) are compliant with legalisation and company policy/governance.An added responsibility would be to support the Senior Managers with best-practice procedures, and training to follow through with remedial actions after incidents and near misses. This role has an interesting scope of tasks, and is great for an individual who would love to learn morethan just Health and Safety, and branch out into Quality, Environment and Compliance.

Guaranteed 40 hours of work per week with 30 minutes paid lunch break.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer and coordinate work priorities. Examples may include but are not limited to: food safety, BWOF, Controlled Drugs,, Fire certification and others relating to property and facilities administration and coordination
- Providing administration support for all activities across the business for SHEQ including updating SHEQ policies and procedure
- Completing and filing all site and contractor inductions
- Development and coordination of site visits and associated itineraries
- Administer Procedure updates, overseeing that all expired and reviews are followed up by the Process Owner/ Expert
- Ensure effective administration of work processes/ procedures (SOPs) for key areas of operations, and assist with the administration/development of appropriate training Provide appropriate administrative support to ensure compliance with clients requirements (including food safety program requirements)
- Review and administer, external contractors/testing/certifications required for Building WOF and all other building/property certifications nationwide
- Booking and updating training records in GT
- Monitoring and updating Lead and Lag indicators dashboard
- Provide administrative support and assistance with data entry of Incidents into Greentree
- Other site-specific administration tasks as requested
- Maintain and update documentation and policies with regard to all aspects pertaining to compliance Assist National SHEQ Manager to ensure all non-compliance events/incidents are appropriately investigated, accurately recorded & submitted within the specified t corrective action is taken by the Manager to reduce the risk of incident occurring again
- Ensure all accreditations for compliance with food safety, BWOF, Controlled Drugs, Risk Management of Hazardous substances/DGs, and Fire certification are maintained
- Coordinate the Fire Warden / Building warden team and training needs, to ensure operational implementation
- Proactively manage all associated administration with regard to rehabilitation of injured team members
- Ensure First Aid boxes are appropriately located and contents suitably replenished

**Relevant Skills & Training**:
**Qualifications**:

- Health and Safety Representative experience
- Administration experience

**Technical Skills and Experience**:

- Logistics / Transport /Manufacturing or similar industry experience
- Certificate in QH&S, HR, or similar
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge including SUMIF, COUNTIF and Vlookup functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently without supervision, agile and responsive to tasks
- Detail orientated, co-ordination and close out of actions
- Class 1 licence with a vehicle - able to travel between sites in Auckland. Flexible to be able to fly to Christchurch site when needed occasionally.
