A specialist in their area of manufacturing, our client is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor, on a part time basis for the New Zealand arm of their business.

Based in Albany and reporting to the Group Manager in Melbourne, this is an autonomous role requiring well developed communication and engagement skills. Working closely with Operations and the Senior Leadership Team, you will have a practical approach and be able to provide expertise and guidance to all levels of the business.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Implementation and guidance on HSW
- Injury/claims management
- Participate in audits and investigations
- Guide and mentor line managers, HSW Committee and the workforce

**Skills and experience**
- Relevant qualification in health, safety and wellbeing
- Audit and training qualification would be an advantage
- Excellent time management
- A cooperative and collaborative approach

With around 80 permanent staff, safety is owned by the employees in this business. You’ll enjoy a culturally diverse workplace and support from a wider team based in Australia. You’ll also support a smaller branch, based in Christchurch so must be able to travel when needed.

The role is part time and can be worked as 3 days per week, or 5 shorter days to suit at around 20 hours per week.

There are no visa/sponsorship opportunities available with this role. This is a permanent position, therefore only applicants with full, valid, permanent working rights will be considered.
