**About the role**:
**About you**:
Whether you have a background in building construction, building design, consent processing and/or inspections - whatever your expertise, we're looking for team players with experience in building and maintaining successful relationships with clients, their agents and internal teams. We are looking for someone who:

- Holds a relevant reg 18 qualification - find out more about reg 18 here
- Has at least 3 years' experience within the building industry, in any capacity
- Has the ability to make appropriate decisions with regards to the building code performance clauses

**Additional information**:

- Hours of work_ -_ 37.5 - 40 hours per week_
- Location_ - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga, Christchurch City Council Civic Offices - 53 Hereford Street_
Salary - _The salary band for this position goes from (Add 90% figure) to (Add 120% figure) with the mid-range being (Add 100% figure). _
- Level 1: $71,529 - $79,477_
- Level 2: $78,464 - $87,182_
- Level 3: $93,200 - $103,556_
