We are currently seeking to employ **a Stores Controller** to our** Distribution Support**team based in **Upper Hutt, Wellington**. In this role, you will support our stores team and provide excellent service to internal customers.

**About the Role**

- **Pick and issue stock required for specific company works, preventative/reactive maintenance and contracting jobs as per the relevant documentation provided.
- Load/unload vehicles with the use of a forklift.
- Ensure inward and outward goods meet the required quantity, quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out standard housekeeping duties.
- Ensure accurate inventory control database systems and records are maintained and up to date.
- Stocktaking and cycle counting.
- Report errors or systems issues directly to the supervisor on a timely basis.
- Assist with the purchasing of materials and other supplies as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Have warehouse experience.
- Understanding of inventory control.
- Experience in using computerised warehouse systems e.g., SAP will be ideal.
- Good Communication skills.
- Current forklift licence and F endorsement preferred.
- A valid Full New Zealand drivers’ licence
