**We're seeking a highly motivated Store Person - Driver to join our growing team at Service Foods**:

**The role**:
This hybrid role offers the opportunity to wear multiple hats and contribute across various aspects of our operations. You will be someone who enjoys teamwork and collaboration
- Immediate start.
- Full-time permanent role.
- Roster: Monday to Friday (Saturdays on rotation)
- Hours: 5.00 am to 01.30 pm
- Location: William Durant Drive, Trentham, Upper Hutt

**The job**:
You will be an all-rounder supporting the operations team here at Service Foods. The successful applicant will have a strong computing background, competent in Microsoft office & capable of learning our in-house software SAGE. A clean NZ Full Driver's License with **Class 2 e**ndorsement (manual transmission) is required.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Pick pack - Prepare orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper labelling and prepping for delivery
- Dispatch** - **Expedite the loading of trucks in the mornings, ensuring deliveries get on the road promptly.
- Logistics - Act as our primary backup driver, providing support when needed.
- Delivery - Safely deliver goods to clients throughout the greater Wellington region (routes will be learned during training).
- Saturday Support
- Process invoices, dispatch trucks, and maintain the office during open hours
- Inventory -Rotate stock to ensure freshness, check expiry dates, and remove outdated items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, ensuring adherence to health and safety and food safety standards.
- Keep products separated, organized, and rotated effectively based on FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Perform some heavy lifting tasks.
- Adherence to Health and Safety policy and Food safety and Quality standards

**The person**:
You will have some prior experience in a similar role, food industry, or a warehousing environment is advantageous, but not essential.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a temperature controlled environment
- Reasonably good Literacy and numeracy skills
- Reliable attendance & transport
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime
- Forklift license ideal
- A good level of computer literacy skills and the ability to pick up new systems
- Some Pick Packing/warehouse work experience
- Prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients
- Honest team player, integrity and reliability are essential.
- Attention to detail and Clear communication skills
