You will play a key role in our Day/Night operations and will be the go-to for our night team, responding to incidents and providing support and guidance as needed. This is an exciting fast-paced role where no two days will be the same. Due to the nature of our work, flexibility is key as we are a 24/7 operation, therefore, you must be available to work on weekends.
**Key Responsibilities but not limited to-**
Your key role is to manage your team who patrols and guards industrial and commercial facilities.
- Your team willcover Electronic Monitoring Field Officer and Patrol roles. Youwill be responsible for ensuring electronic monitoring equipment is correctly installed and working properly.
- You and your team will attend to customer locations, as required to conduct these installs or call outs.
- Your team will also monitor client properties, attend alarm activations, attend general call outs, patrol properties and checking doors, windows and gates for unauthorised entry, watch for irregularities such as fire hazards, malfunctions of machines and equipment, lights left on, leaking water pipes and unlocked security doors.
- In addition to regular patrol duties, you will ensure patrol activities and equipment (including vehicles) are safe and compliant.
- You will provide training support and coaching when needed.
Whilst experience in the security industry would be advantageous, we are happy to consider applicants who demonstrate maturity, common sense, and life skills, which they can bring to the Security Officer role. No formal qualification is required. Full training will be provided along with the required PPE and Uniform.
$27.00 to $30 per hour
Monday to Sunday rotating roster with minimum 30 hours per week.
Shifts may be 8-12 hours long during day or night.
Must be able to cover any shift as required
