**Our Role**

We are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Maintenance Fitter to join our Oparure Limestone quarry. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will require you to:

- Complete scheduled mechanical maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
- Replace, fabricate and machine components on plant and equipment in line with planned maintenance schedule or to rectify faults or recover from breakdown.
- Recommend and undertake improvement projects on plant and machinery.
- Complete condition monitoring and inspections of fixed plant and mobile equipment.

Ordinarily this will be a day shift Monday to Friday role however you will be required to work on some weekends and will be available to attend unplanned breakdowns, whereby overtime will be applicable.
- A trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Fitter with good mechanical aptitude
- Experience with crushing and screening equipment as well as sound welding and fabrication skills would be highly regarded but not essential.
- A current manual driver’s license is required
