The Business Technology and Information Services (BTIS) directorate is part of the Corporate Services Branch within MPI. BTIS's role is to help the MPI business units to deliver effectively to their sectors and stakeholders with the appropriate use of digital technology.

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
In this role, you will assist with the establishment and ongoing management of the DevOps environments. This includes assisting with the selection and implementation of CI/CD tools and supporting the transition from an on-prem environment to the cloud. You'll be involved in a wide variety of work including planning, administration, monitoring, configuration management, troubleshooting and software release management. You will be involved with onboarding new projects on the enterprise DevOps platform, ensuring MPI's DevOps practices being followed, encourage, and build automated processes wherever possible.
Mōu - About You
We're looking for someone with awareness of critical concepts of DevOps, strong problem-solving, communication and documentation skills, the ability to establish and manage relationships and excellent attention to detail. Your previous experience includes Microsoft Azure DevOps, managing DevOps environments (on-prem and cloud), CI/CD pipeline and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server products.
You will also have a very good understanding of Active Directory Domains, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V.
