The opportunity:
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will identify, create, lead and deliver market leading top of funnel marketing strategies and tactics to grow the AIA New Zealand business.

Output being AIA successfully demonstrate understanding of our customers to meet their needs, plus deliver business ROI (customer growth - numbers and revenue, VONB and low CPA).

You will be pivotal to the success of both the Marketing, Product, Distribution and Partner channels.

Leading all Trade, Consumer Retail, Digital Direct and Product Mass Marketing planning and delivery to fully recognize our potential and create envy in the Market.

About the role:
- Lead, inspire and mentor a high performing team of marketing specialists to deliver maximum value to the business and customer.- Lead the strategy and execution of fully integrated B2B and B2C marketing activities to support growth of distribution channels- Leverage existing Marketing CRM tools and programs, plus implement new lead generation marketing activity, to create deeper customer relationships and deliver efficiencies.- Manage and collaborate with senior distribution, product, AIA Vitality and Group Office stakeholders to develop market leading initiatives for risk and health products.- Plan, implement and evaluate the strategy for marketing AIA brand through various distribution channels- Propose and implement marketing strategies and plans for product promotion and pricing policy- Manage and optimize marketing budgets- Develop and manage performance marketing strategy and execute on digital campaigns (incl of SEM, SEO, Display and Social) across AIA channels- Manage complex distribution channel relationships and drive efficiencies across marketing effort and spend to achieve targets and CX KPIs- Research and analyse the marketplace to identify new marketing opportunities- Develop and monitor channel opportunities and partnerships to maximise revenue- Manage large, complex projects (people, time, budget) to execute marketing strategy.- Accountable for implementing and maintaining performance measurement programs that align with AIAs core KPI’s, including regular stakeholder reporting.-
- Present regular reporting and action plans to Head of Marketing, CLT, SLT and ELT.- Act as a thought leader and key influencer within digital performance marketing and the wider business, including active virtual team leadership.- Manage all aspects of relationships with relevant third-party vendors and partners

About you:
- Senior experience in similar service industry roles.- Large project and campaign delivery experience.- Strong understanding of the marketing environment in New Zealand, in the Digital Marketing space.- A clear understanding of the role data and insights play in marketing.- Superior technical digital marketing and analytical capability and skills- Demonstrable experience of leading successful Direct and Partner marketing initiatives at a senior level in large and complex organisations.- Significant B2B and B2C marketing experience in BTL channels.- Understanding & appreciation of change management principles.- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills.- Balance of creative and commercial thinking.- Experience in dealing with complex products, with large and diverse customer bases.
