As part of our Meat Processing Team in Waikato, you'll play a key role in ensuring our sites comply with regulatory and company standards, providing our customers with top-tier meat products and service.

**About the Role**:
In this vital role, you’ll implement and maintain compliance programs that ensure the quality and safety of our products. You’ll actively contribute to a culture of ethics, compliance, and continuous learning within the organization.
- ** Location**: Te Rapa Park, Waikato
- ** Shift**: Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4 pm
- ** Position**: Full-time, Permanent

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate on-time delivery of protein products to specification from the Waikato Butchery Processing plant.
- Manage and engage in Food Safety programs at the SF Waikato site.
- Oversee shelf-life validation, regulatory limits, and labelling requirements for products.
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure products meet safety and quality standards.
- Implement quality assurance programs and initiatives.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld in the department.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor meat packing and processing functions for smooth workflow.
- Inspect product quality before packaging.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 1-3+ years of experience in food processing, butchery, or food safety.
- Experience in food processing, food product management, or meat manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with the food service or meat processing industry.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence environments is a plus.
- Fluent in English with excellent command of the language.
