**Join New World Te Kauwhata - Butchery Role Available**

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled team member (Butcher) to join our butchery department. If you’re passionate about quality, take pride in your work, and enjoy working in a supportive and fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you Days of work and weekly roster will be discussed, morning 6am starts.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- ** A qualified butcher or experienced butcher** with a deep understanding of meat cuts and preparation techniques.
- ** Reliable and self-motivated**, with the ability to work independently
- ** Excellent communication skills** and a positive team attitude
- ** Flexibility to work varied hours**, especially during our busy Easter and Christmas seasons
- ** Willingness to adjust start and finish times** to suit operational needs

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- ** Preparing a variety of meats** for display and sale - deboning, trimming, cutting, mincing, and grinding while reducing waste, also packing and labeling the product.
- ** Producing small goods** with selected and prepared cuts of meat
- ** Operating machinery** for mincing, mixing, and tenderising
- ** Keeping display cases and freezers stocked**, clean, and merchandised to standard
- ** Assisting customers**, offering advice on meat cuts and their uses
