**Service Foods Hamilton Butchery is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Butchery packer to join the Night Shift.**

As a Butchery Packer, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. You will work closely with our skilled butchers and support our commitment to providing the finest meat products to our customers.
- **Full-time, permanent**:

- Immediate position
- **Night shift allowance**:

- Location: 8 Simsey Place, Te Rapa Park.
- Days of work**:Sunday to Friday**:

- Shift timings**:7.00 pm to 03.30 am**

**The job**:
Your primary responsibilities will include accurately packaging and preparing meat products, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards.

Some of the key tasks are:

- Packing and labelling meat products with precision and care.
- Ensuring that all products are packaged according to quality and safety standards.
- Operate vac pack, other equipment and machinery to wrap meat
- Organizing and preparing orders for timely delivery to customers.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Preparation of meat products as and when required (full training provided)
- Following all Food Safety and Health and Safety processes to a high standard
- Assist with general butchery and other operational duties

**The person**:
The skills and attributes needed:

- An ability to follow instructions and to work under pressure
- Good level of physical fitness and be able to lift up to 20 kgs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic and a focus on safety and cleanliness.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be Comfortable to work in a cold environment
- Reliable transport to work and willingness to learn
- Be flexible in the role and take on additional tasks as required
