**He angitūtanga**: About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader of Data/Development, this role will work with Data Analysts and Data Warehouse Developers to provide testing services to the Tertiary Education Commission to ensure data quality assurance.
- Write test planning documentation that is appropriate for the testing scope
- Plan and perform testing (Manual/ Automated)
- Document detailed Test Scripts and Acceptance Criteria appropriate for re-use with test automation
- Work with developers and establish a test-first approach to development
- Work closely with team to manage environments and deployments
- Provide defect descriptions with detailed step by step reproduction steps

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior-level Test Analyst who possesses strong test coverage to mitigate issues and risks. You will bring the following:

- Have worked with a data team or have exposure to testing database objects
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
- Experienced writer of automated front end tests
- Experience analysing and converting User Stories / Functional Requirements into detailed Acceptance Criteria and Test Scripts
- Experience managing releases, merging and deploying code to development environments
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, SQL and Power BI
- Experience documenting detailed and visual defect descriptions

The salary range for this position is up to $99,890+, this is negotiable depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
