Wellington - Test Lead/Senior Test Analyst

As a Test Lead/Senior Test Analyst, you are becoming an expert in your field, working in complex environments, and influencing, advising, and leading teams, solutions and stakeholders. You advise on the most effective ways to establish solutions in traditional and agile engagements. You independently plan and lead the delivery of solutions for medium to large complexity engagements. You can influence areas outside of your area and build relationships with senior stakeholder. Experience with Salesforce, D365 is favorable.

Test Management: Contributes to the development of enterprise wide test policies and strategies, and ensures team alignment with the client's test policy and strategy where they already exist. Manages testing for medium to high complexity engagements across any domain or industry. Creates test plans and strategies, working with senior stakeholders to achieve client buy-in. Runs risk workshops to identify and treat product and project risks. Manages, resolves or escalates risks and issues with senior support, implementing corrective actions as needed. Identifies means to monitor and control engagements, implementing corrective steps as needed. Reviews team deliverables.

Test Analysis and Design: Defines and reviews test analysis and design practices for the team, making improvement suggestions and moderating standards where necessary.

Test Execution: Collates and reports execution progress for the team, maintaining an overview of test execution. Reviews and refines the approach, schedule and test execution process as needed.

Defect Management: Defines defect management practices for the team. Leads defect reviews and defect triage meetings. Oversees defect resolution processes to ensure defects are being addressed by developers in a suitable order and timeframe.

Optimisation: Contributes to test practice optimisation, with support from senior team members. Reviews test processes regularly to engender continuous improvement.

Quality Engineering Management: Contributes to the development of enterprise wide quality policies and strategies. Manages medium to larger scale quality engineering engagements across any domain or industry. Provides product quality guidance across functional and technical aspects of the solution. Creates product quality strategies and plans, working with senior stakeholders to achieve client buy-in. Runs quality risk workshops to identify risks across the full product lifecycle.

Leadership: Leads and manages teams effectively. Influences how quality is approached across the lifecycle by their team, including how quality is built into each product and tested as early as possible. Operates as a quality coach for the team (including for BAs and developers), guiding them on how to implement quality engineering practices.

Quality Engineering Practices: Recommends quality engineering practices (e.g. reviews, inspections, walkthroughs, functional and non-functional testing, automation, continuous testing, audits) to uplift product quality and delivery for their team, across multiple lifecycle phases (e.g. requirements, architecture, design, build, test and release management).

Optimisation: Contributes to delivery optimisation, with support from senior members. Reviews quality engineering processes regularly to engender continuous improvement.
