**Responsibilities**:
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the Christchurch - Canterbury regional team. The Acusensus Maintenance Team works with the hardware and software that drive the world’s leading Distracted Driving technology solution. They assemble, deploy, and support a range of mobile platforms that integrate radar and camera hardware with operating systems and communications software. Our technologies involve equipment installed at the roadside, real-time sensor and camera interfaces, decision algorithms, machine learning-based detection algorithms, file transfer and monitoring systems, web user interfaces, and cloud-based infrastructure.

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and servicing Acusensus technology in the field. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues to ensure optimal system functionality. The role involves hands-on technical work, collaboration with internal teams, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree or qualification in computer, electrical, mechanical, or related fields is desirable or equivalent experience.
- Professional certifications in maintenance management or leadership (e.g. CMRP, PMP, etc.) are desirable.
- Strong technical experience with mechanical, electrical and automated systems
- Excellent project management skills, including organising and documenting work.
- Proficiency with maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Full driver's license with the ability to tow and reverse heavy trailers, and a good driving record.
- Must pass a police and driving history check to a level satisfactory to our clients.
- Personal values that emphasise collaboration, integrity, and helpfulness.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach for extended periods.
