**National Trucks Manager - Hyundai New Zealand**

The Hyundai brand is a leading force within the global transport market with their industry leading clean energy EV and hydrogen cell technology breaking new barriers.

This exciting **National Truck Manager** role is to enhance sales and brand awareness of the Hyundai Truck models available to the New Zealand market.

The role is an important, integral position within the managerial team who are driven, ambition, future sales focus, with intellectual horsepower.

You will drive the profitability, operational and strategic leadership of the New Zealand Hyundai Truck business to achieve commercial and market success.

**Day to day responsibilities**
- Create, review and implement the Commercial Division strategic plan
- Formulate and implement new product strategies including competitive analysis, pricing, volume planning and take to market activities
- Capitalise on market opportunities
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with the Manufacturer, Dealer Network and local industry suppliers
- Implement effective Aftersales strategies to maximise customer retention and parts revenue
- Provide Accurate sales, Model mix and margin reports as well as budget forecasts
- Manage inventory, planning, order recommendations and stock control
- Control dealer incentive and rebates to achieve business results
- Conduct regular team meetings to co-ordinate work priorities
- Implement effective KPIs and development plans for all direct reports

**About you**
- Relevant industry experience 5 years in heavy vehicle sales, operations or management
- Ability think strategically and create new business opportunities
- Results orientated and walks the talk
- Ability to communicate accurately with varied audiences
- Technically competent with the following but limited to: Truck weights, dimensions, weights payloads and trailer requirements
- Be able to navigate NZTA requirements
- Ability to do technical product comparisons
- Competent with Microsoft suite
- Good written and verbal skills
- Class 2, 4 and 5 licence (or willingness to go through the process)
