**Truck Workshop Manager**

We are looking for a **Workshop Manager** for a Truck Dealership in **_New Plymouth_**.

Based in New Plymouth, a vibrant, sunny west coast city known for its warm climate, picturesque parks, fantastic walks and great fishing and hunting.

You will be working from a new state of the art, award winning multi franchise workshop within the backdrop of Mount Egmont National Park.

This position requires a high level of technical proficiency as well as the experience of leading an enthusiastic, friendly team who enjoy work, wages and camaraderie.

**Role specifics**
- Management role, off-tools
- $100k-$130k salary dependant on experience
- Fully maintained company vehicle
- Mon-Fri 7am to 5pm
- Minimum 40 hours per week

**For this role you will need**
- Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification
- Full driving license (Class 4/5 highly regarded)
- Previous workshop foreman/manager/controller experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow, customer interaction and workshop productivity
- Firm understanding of budgeting and forecasting

In this role you will be the heart of the machine that keeps everything running smoothly, you will connect the dots between the workshop, customers and management.

The job will entail accurately estimating timeframes and workloads for all jobs that come through the workshop maximising efficiency and profits.

- Your technicians are happy
- Budget is achieved/exceeded consistently
- Costs are kept competitive through supplier relationships
