**About the job**:
We are looking for an experienced Class 5 driver to safely and efficiently deliver LPG cylinders to both internal and external customers within and beyond the regional area**. **You will be handling dangerous goods, so you’ll need great attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.

You will need to be flexible with your hours, able to stay away overnight when needed, and ready to work weekends during busy periods.

You’ll be dealing with customers face-to-face, and at times might need to answer questions or offer them solutions. We’ll make sure you have all the training and support needed, so you are confident in giving accurate information.

Other duties include:

- Completing vehicle safety checks
- Organising delivery runs
- Loading and unloading product from the truck
- Delivering LPG cylinders and taking away the empties

**About you**:
You have a clean licence with solid 2+ years Class 5 driving experience, along with:

- Be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items when doing deliveries.
- Being flexible and adaptable with a strong focus on customer service.
- Willingness to cover other delivery roles (Class 2) when required
- Able to competently operate truck and trailer combinations.
- Dangerous Goods and Forklift Endorsement (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to use handheld computer delivery equipment and navigation devices.
- A proactive approach and responsibility towards Health and Safety.

**What we offer**
- $37 per hour
- You’ll be paid weekly
- Assistance to obtain and maintain current Forklift and DG endorsement
