**The opportunity | Te kāinga rua**

Make an impact in this senior planning delivery role where you will take the lead working with our clients who are doing incredible things every day. You will take a Planning leadership role across our Wellington planning, communications, and engagement team where you will be delivering community shaping projects across Wellington and the surrounding regions. This role will also offer you opportunities to lead, mentor, and develop those in the early stages of their planning careers.

As a member of our tight-knit team, you'll work on exciting, high-quality planning and environmental consulting projects alongside clients, including Greater Wellington Regional Council, Waka Kotahi, Wellington Water, Transport, Defence, Fire and Emergency New Zealand, Ministry for the Environment among others.

As well as being focused on great projects - we're also passionate about promoting career development opportunities for our employees. We provide opportunities for exposure to a range of projects and clients while working closely with transport specialists, landscape architects and urban designers along with environmental advisors and engineers.

**About you | Te rongoā**

As an experienced, high-performing planner, you will be passionate about making a difference delivering complex community, infrastructure, and development projects. We are looking for a savvy, innovative, and commercially minded professional with a collaborative approach who is motivated to be part of, and strengthen, our growing planning business.

Advancing your technical skills and knowledge and supporting the next generation of Planners will be important to you. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and be a full member of the NZPI or working towards this.

You will also have a natural flare for leadership and the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the public. We have flexibility to shape the role around you, depending on your level of experience.
