The opportunity:
- As a Medical Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for the assessment of medical claims by liaising with clients, health professionals and advisers and processing claim payments ensuring a high level of accuracy. Come join our dedicated team and work in a fast-paced environment, providing empathy and great customer service to our clients.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing each claim under the benefits of the policy and ensuring the claim is applicable and within the parameters of the policy-
- Customer queries are promptly responded to with an empathic and caring approach-
- Liaising with providers, including hospitals and specialists, about client claims-
- Supporting the Health Claims Manager with new initiatives and process improvements-
- Contributing to a positive team culture- Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience working in insurance or a medical-related role-
- Knowledge in understanding policies and medical terminology-
- Able to work with a variety of stakeholders and create positive working relationshipsGood verbal and written communication skills- Why choose AIA?
