Payroll Officer

**Responsibilities**: Monthly Payroll Management - Prepare the monthly main payroll for Australia and New Zealand as per monthly payroll timetable. - Prepare weekly adhoc payroll for Australia and New Zealand. - Assist P&C and employees with any payroll related questions. - Timely and correctly set up and maintain employee master file. - Calculate Sales commission for approval and processing via payroll for Global sales team. - Process monthly payroll for external contractors via Payroll system Audit and Compliance - Ensuring Payroll policies and procedures are in accordance with financial policies, relevant internal processes, and adhere to all local regulations and legislative requirements and are fully documented and updated to reflect any changes as they occur. - Maintaining all payroll records in accordance with legislative and compliance requirements. - Ensure weekly and monthly submissions to ATO, Superannuation and IRD are completed within timeframe. - Assist in completing month end reconciliations around payroll.
**Mandatory Skills & Experience**: Experience Required - 5 years+ experience leading payroll function within Global IT/Corporate business or a high-volume environment across Australia and New Zealand. - Expert knowledge of fundamental payroll. Greentree Payroll experience is preferable, but not essential. - Professional interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. - Strong attention to detail and quality orientation. - Ability to work in a high-volume environment, manage conflicting priorities and completing tasks to deadline. - Effective, hands-on team player who is self-directed and achievement driven.
