We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Join our team as a Payroll Officer, where you will provide a prompt, accurate and friendly service to ensure that all employees are paid on time and according with the payroll timetable. Your main duties will be processing payroll data in accordance with organisational policy and answering queries from our departments and employees. You will also have opportunity to get involved in on-going process improvement projects.
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
You will be described as a fantastic communicator who is self-motivated, proactive and can build and maintain lasting relationships.
Given the importance of this role (making sure our workforce are paid the correct amount and on time) we are seeking someone who has:
- 2 years' experience in a clerical role in office management, administration, accounting, HR or payroll with data entry skills and experience
- experience using online resources/tools and intermediate knowledge and skills in using MS Office
- organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
- experience in adapting to timebound demands & urgent requirements; including - the ability to manage workload and priorities

Added Advantage
- Tertiary qualification in HR or business
- Experience of working with AMS Leader Payroll System will be advantageous but is not essential
