**Role Overview**:
Our client is one of New Zealand's largest and most successful retail cooperatives, with a proud history of serving local communities for over 95 years. We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join the fantastic team in Christchurch as a Demand & Project Planner.

As the Demand/Project Planner, you will be responsible for managing demand and coordinating traffic for the project team, ensuring that when new projects are come in, they are given to the nessasary team to succesfully deliver projects at a high standard. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. This is a critical role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will require expereince working in a project environment to understand the fast-paced project environment, a background in Project Management/Program Coordination is nessasary for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the project team in identifying and implementing process improvements, tools, and techniques to optimize project delivery.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively identify and address potential roadblocks.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation to ensure all aspects of the project are well-coordinated and aligned with project goals.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify demand patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Develop and implement demand capacity strategies to ensure efficient utilisation of resources and maximize project performance.

**Expereince required**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand capacity planning, project coordination, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Expereince working in a Project Capacity
- Proficient in using project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, or related fields would be advantageous.
