We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Civils Supervisor to join our Waikato team at HEB Construction, to lead our crew on various projects around the region. As Supervisor, you will ensure that all crew members are safely, effectively and efficiently completing their work in line with client specification.

You must be a strong leader with excellent critical thinking skills, as you will be a key point of contact for the crew and will report back to the Superintendent / Project Manager on all operational activities. A focus on health and safety is imperative to this role, as you must assist in driving a strong safety culture in all day-to-day operations.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate the daily operational requirements of the project
- Assist the project team to efficiently drive the project programme
- Lead a team
- Provide support and mentoring to leading hands and junior staff members
- Champion safety on site
- Be actively involved in the preparation of the Work plans.

**About you**:

- 4 - 5+ years experience in the civil construction industry
- Proven experience leading crews on site
- Full class 1 driver's licence
- Safety and high standard quality focused
- Excellent communication skills
