We are seeking a **Senior Project Engineer** level to join our iReX team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled SPE with significant project management experience to take on a leading role in a challenging and rewarding project.

The Zone Manager / SPE is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager and Project Manager with the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the Wellington side of the iReX project to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the iReX Wellington side project
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables within budget, schedule, quality, safety, and environmental requirements
- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Supervise a team of site
- and project engineers, and support staff
- Manage zone specific project risks and identify opportunities to optimize project scope, schedule, and budget
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations
- Manage change orders, budget, and schedule control
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure overall project success

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or similar
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team
- Experience with project scheduling, budget control, and change management
- Experience with construction safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with project management software
