- Opportunities to work with the Duty Nurse Manager Team afterhours at Waitakere Hospital
- Providing Specialist Nurse Care and expertise along with coaching support to ward staff
An opportunity to be part of the Waitemata Central afterhours team working under the delegation of the Duty Nurse Managers. Opportunities to work across both sites with a focus on Waitakere. Imagine being part of a team where you are providing support to areas working at a proficient level and responding when areas are showing negative variance - to task and assist.
- Work in clinical practice settings alongside nurses in direct clinical care to role model good nursing practice
- Use clinical teaching/coaching skills to support clinical decision making in practice for all nurses in the service.
- Supports and coaches new nurses in the afterhours setting
- Ensures that nurses in the wards receive the assistance and support that they require to be safe
- 8 hour shifts over pm and night shifts
