**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role**
We have an opportunity for a **Senior Analyst**to joint our **Regions, Enterprise and Economic Development** team. The team leads the Treasury's advice across a broad range of areas, with a focus on delivering the government's economic strategy. These include:
- economic growth
- regional development
- the energy sector
- science, innovation and technology
- small business and tourism
We work closely with other teams across the Treasury and with agencies. This is a great opportunity to influence policy at the centre of government.
In this role, you will:
- provide advice to Ministers on proposals with significant economic and fiscal impacts, including Budget initiatives.
- work collaboratively across the Treasury and with agencies to develop free, frank and helpful advice.
- demonstrate and develop your relationship management and strategic policy skills.
You will be responsible for our advice on one or more areas of spending and related policy issues. As a Senior Analyst you will have opportunities to lead and mentor other staff, as well as contributing your own robust analytical and solution-focused thinking.
