Team Summary**:
Regulations and fast changing market dynamics are setting up Open Banking to be a dynamic and exciting opportunity. Our aim is to enable Visa clients and partners to leverage data and open platforms to drive better customer engagement and business growth.

The Data Solutions and Open Banking team is responsible for leading the strategy, prioritisation, development and delivery of Visa’s product roadmap for all data and risk solutions in the Australian, New Zealand and South Pacific markets. The team collaborates with local and global stakeholders to develop the go-to-market strategy for Visa’s open banking capabilities, scale Visa’s risk and authentication solutions, as well as delivering Visa’s data solutions roadmap.

The team is at the vanguard of evolving Visa’s business model to be in the middle of money movement for everyone, everywhere through our core capabilities and services.

**What a Senior Solutions Manager for the Open Banking team will do**:
As the Senior Manager driving solutions deployment, you will contribute to the strategy, prioritisation and deployment of new money movement solutions in New Zealand that respond to evolving consumer and business demands. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including partners and clients in the development of solutions within Visa or through partners specialising in payment initiation and new money movement in Open Banking regimes. Contributing to solution design, identifying partnerships, scoping the build of products and services while working with global leaders, technology partners and in-market teams will bring this vision to life.

Important to the role is a client-oriented mindset when developing solutions while having a strong commercial understanding of a network business. Your passion for developing new payment experiences and a market focused approach will enable you to succeed in this role. This role will have a primary focus in New Zealand, but we expect the successful individual to also spend a portion of their time focusing on potential opportunities in the Australian market with a similar focus. Specific responsibilities areas will include:

- Lead and drive joint solution development efforts in the area of Account-to-Account payments.
- Working with partners and clients, while collaborating with various internal stakeholders to grasp functional and technical aspects of different solutions and combine them with partners’ solutions and capabilities to create market-first offerings.
- Develop local business requirements and drive implementation through regional and global teams in close collaboration with other key functional areas including risk, strategy and government relations.
- Evaluate local partnerships across multiple segments which can assist in the development of strategic recommendations and business cases for possible local partnerships to assist achieving Visa’s strategic goals.
- Provide guidance and expertise for product and client facing teams and lead discussions with prospective clients.
- Provide input and leadership to regulatory and industry developments (e.g., Open Banking regulations, data protection, data privacy and localisation requirements).
- Close monitoring of market trends, emerging technologies and prospective partners in the general Data Solutions space.
- Own and drive implementation milestones during a Proof Of Concept or Minimum Viable Product stages and revenue targets through initial commercialisation phase.
