**The Role**:
We are looking for a **Casual Chef/Cook** to provide **on-call, as-needed relief cover** for our kitchen team. This role does not guarantee set hours but offers flexibility to step in when required.

As a key part of our back-of-house team, you will:

- Work on an **ad-hoc, if-and-when-needed basis** to cover staff absences.
- Prepare and present **high-quality meals** and cabinet food in line with Columbus Coffee recipes.
- Assist in delivering our **Chef’s Specials** and **daily salads**.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Support with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required.
- This role is based **at our Silverdale café**

**What You’ll Bring**:
**At least 2+ years of cooking experience**, ideally in a **fast-paced café**. _(Note: This role does not provide full training—you must be confident covering shifts at short notice.)_
**Ability to work efficiently under pressure** while maintaining **high food quality standards**.
**Strong understanding of FCP and Health & Safety** requirements.
**A clear, strong communication style** and a passion for great food.
**A team-focused attitude—willing to chip in wherever needed**, including dishwashing and rubbish disposal.
**Flexibility—our busiest trading days are weekends and public holidays**.
