Newshub is ramping up its social media strategy - and Engagement Producers will be instrumental in bringing to life a fresh approach to news content. The successful applicant will have a passion for creating compelling video and written news content, but will also have the ability to be in front of the camera at times to present stories to social media audiences. Should we have an "at times" in here, just so it's not overselling this ascpect? **Responsibilities** - Publishing written and video content on Newshub's social media platforms - including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube - Optimisation and promotion of content in engaging and innovative ways that drive audience growth across all Newshub platforms - including social, web, app and TV - Identify news angles and translate them into engaging content and headlines - Regular communication with all newsroom teams to promote audience engagement in stories and content. **Requirements**: - A tertiary qualification, preferably in journalism - Ability to write cleanly, quickly and autonomously - Comfortable in front of a camera presenting - Calm and proactive in breaking news/developing story situations - Use of multimedia software - Photoshop and Premiere.
