**About the Business Sector Development Senior**

This is a newly created role with the Central Economic Development Agency (CEDA). Reporting to the Business Development Manager you will be a key part of the Business Development Team. You will be responsible for the delivery of outcomes under relevant sector development strategies and initiatives. In this role, you will provide support and opportunities for growth for sectors of strength in the region, including identifying leads on inward investment potential, labour market development, and talent and skills attraction and retention.

You will be required to proactively seek out opportunities and develop relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners in the region.

**What we are looking for in you**:

- Experience in a key sector role (Distribution, Logistics, Primary, Visitor) or, experience working in a similar role within the economic development space
- Bachelors degree in business or similar, or equivalent previous experience
- Ability to build strong professional networks and relationships
- The ability to plan, lead and support programs and projects
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to research and analyse data to form plans and advice to support decision making
- Project management experience including budget management
- Able to work outside of usual business hours including evening and weekends on occasion
