Te āhuatunga a te tūranga/About the Role
Te Puna Aonui supports collaborative initiatives that bring together Government, iwi and communities in whānau-centred ways to better support individuals, families and whānau at risk of or impacted by family violence and/or sexual violence to improve their wellbeing.
We are looking to recruit two Relationship Managers - one with a focus on Government, one with a focus on communities. These are leadership positions, with the support of other team members for analysis and documentation.

Relationship Manager - localities
The Relationship Manager - localities will build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with senior leaders within communities who lead and govern community-led collaborative initiatives. These leaders will span iwi, communities and Government.
You will act as a conduit between the work going on in localities and Government to:

- Support local leaders with access to best practice, others with similar experiences, and experts to enable them to strengthen their local approach to collaboration
- Enable testing and learning of new ways of working that support a shift to strengthening, responding and healing, and the adoption of relational commissioning within localities
- Identify and highlight barriers that exist to the success of local collaborative approaches to family violence and sexual violence

You will bring your experience in working with iwi, Government and community leaders at a local or regional level in a wellbeing or social sector context. You will know that effective collaboration can only be successful if it is led from within the community, and that your role will be one of supporting and enabling leaders within communities to be successful.

Relationship Manager - Government
The Relationship Manager - Government will build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with senior leaders across Te Puna Aonui agencies to enable a whole-of-Sector approach to supporting local collaborative approaches. This will include:

- Bringing together leaders that support locally-led approaches in the centre to better understand each other's work programmes.
- Identifying opportunities to better align work programmes across agencies.
- With the Relationship Manager - localities, working with agencies to understand and address barriers to the success of local collaborative approaches.

You will bring your experience in working with leaders across Government in multi-agency settings.

He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
- You will bring knowledge of mātauranga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a social sector context.
- You will bring your excellent relationship management skills, proven in a range of different and complex situations.
- You will bring your strategic nous - ability to problem solve, to navigate complex documents, and analyse information.
- You will be a team player.
- Previous experience working within Government at national level is preferable but not essential.
