Bookkeeper Wanted Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland-based construction company and become a part of a great team. We are looking for a permanent full-time (at least 30 hours guaranteed, workdays from Monday to Saturday) bookkeeper to grow with our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access to a reputable and experienced company. Job Duties: - To organise and provide accounting services for clients and monthly reporting where applicable on a timely basis. - Input data, journals, sales summary, and receipts, into accounting systems. Update general ledger and taxation system, maintain client databases, set-up new clients where required. Perform all necessary accounting reconciliation - To prepare PAYE and GST returns for clients - Assist in the promotion of business to increase client base and financial return to the firm and to assist the employers in client promotion where necessary - Use of spreadsheets, excel, to perform other accounting analytical reporting such as cash flow, budgets, other reporting. - Perform contract accounts when required. - Provide professional liaison with clients and to develop respect and trust in the firm by services performed. - Keep up to date with accounting standards, taxation changes, reporting requirements, by continuing professional education seminars and research. - Any other duties the employer may reasonably require the employee to perform **To be successful you will need to**: Relevant at least 3 years’ work experience or level 4 qualification is compulsory. We provide job training for this role.
