Tauranga, New Zealand Beca Full time

**Join our Infrastructure team in Tauranga**

Tauranga is arguably the best city to live and work, whether it's a short hop and skip to the beach for a surf, a road trip to the mountains for skiing, mountain biking in redwoods, swimming in the lakes, or going for some along time on the east coast. Should we mention it is warm and Tauranga is New Zealand's fastest-growing city. There is just so much to do for fun or work.

For over 40 years, we have been shaping our community locally in Tauranga with our team who are passionate about the sustainable growth and development of our region by delivering the majority of the largest infrastructure projects in the Bay of Plenty. We are committed to making safe, reliable, accessible communities because this is where we live, learn, work and play.

Our local team is growing and innovating, and evolving with the times; we are continuing to invest in our people and our technology to make the everyday better by improving our delivery process and efficiency. Our team is continually trained in Circular design, Digital Delivery, and Regulatory changes.

**Make everyday better**

As the world around us is changing, we are looking for people who are passionate about creating a better tomorrow. We are looking for you to join our trusted and motivated team who is dedicated to developing and sharing technical innovation to push boundaries and continually challenge and overcome conventions and constraints. We are looking for people who are driven by a diversity of experiences, who see their careers as being fluid and who seek fulfilment in autonomy, career flexibility and in working for a business that can provide purpose and relevance in what they do.

As our team grows, we are looking for people to join the culture that holds us all accountable for prioritising enjoyment at work, working together, and enabling each other’s growth and success across the group. We are looking to talk to people who have a combination of the skills below or be curious about growing your skills. If you don’t have all of these, don’t panic, we will help you develop in the areas you are passionate about.
- Civil 3d, 12 D or Openroads
- Using specialist stormwater software
- Experienced in horizontal infrastructure design
- Construction supervision and management
- Demonstrated understanding of coastal environments, e.g. sediment transport, waves, tides
- Design of coastal structures, e.g. wharves, seawalls, breakwaters, port infrastructure
- Field investigations, e.g. data collection (waves, currents, tides, sediments), asset inspections
- Demonstrated understanding of climate hazards, where to find data, and how to undertake risk assessments
- Incorporating future environmental conditions into infrastructure designs
- Stakeholder liaison and workshop facilitation to collaboratively build a shared understanding of climate risks and paths to adaptation

We have a diverse and changing workload across the team, which could see you involved with anything from circular design to future-proofing our built environment or designing adaptive, resilient infrastructure to due diligence studies for developments, master planning of cities, schools, hospitals, transportation, three waters and much more

**Ready to make the move?**
